Flexible Timetable
Some aspects of the school work are pre-planned while others are planned with the children. CIS diagnoses the needs of each class and then modifies its weekly plans. For example, since handwriting of many of our new children needs improvement, extra training is being given in calligraphy.
Five Day Week
Children attend regular school on five days. Saturdays are used by the teachers to plan each new week and to train themselves in the new processes and reflect upon each previous week, share good practice, create a community spirit, etc.
Day Boarding & Residential Facility With Options
After the school day, the children may stay back at the school by prior sign up until 6 pm each day. They may further join a variety of optional activities that include swimming, music and arts, games and sports, watch carefully selected DVDs to practice English, etc. There is also now a small residential facility for full boarding of boys.
Children's Safety
A CCTV installed throughout the school and its entrance keeps a record of all movements from a safety point of view.
